Karen is passionate about helping leaders build teams they trust, cultures they're proud of and systems that scale.
KAREN EVERS
Karen Evers spent the first 25 years of her career leading high-performing HR teams across a variety of corporate settings. With deep expertise in both the strategic and operational sides of HR, Karen became known for her ability to simplify complex people issues, build strong cultures, and align talent strategies with business goals. In October 2022, she launched HumanSmarts, a boutique HR services firm delivering fully managed HR teams to small business owners—eliminating people headaches and helping companies thrive.

Karen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration, a Bachelor’s degree in Communication, and is SPHR certified. Whether she’s designing onboarding programs or navigating sensitive employee relations, Karen brings both heart and rigor to every engagement.

She resides in Scottsdale, AZ with her husband Kyle and their two teenage daughters, Audrey and Caroline. Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, baking, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.
TOM HEALY
Tom Healy has spent two decades as a leading expert in helping companies transform the way their people perform. With a proven ability to build training that drives real behavioral change, Tom helps organizations go beyond check-the-box HR and instead create high-performing cultures where employees want to win.

A lifelong entrepreneur, Tom has launched and scaled multiple businesses, published multiple books, developed online learning platforms used by over a million people, and advised organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500s. His career has centered on one mission: create ways for people to unlock their potential.

Based in Scottsdale, AZ, Tom is deeply involved in his local community and serves on several boards. When he’s not working, he’s making memories with his wife and two kids or trying to finally break par on the golf course.
